This 30 minute session involves moving 'n' shaking to invite fluidity and joy into the body. Then coming to the ground we'll roll around in pleasure!!
In everyday yoga language this is a myo-fascial release class ... where we'll release tension, liberate any achy, stuck and creaky bits, so that after a bit of TLC they (maybe???) feel downright delicious!
I ain't making promises though - you just let me know after the class 🤣.
This play-time is an easy way to gently revitalise the body and get into the nooks and crannies that everyday life might not get into!
Everything is an invitation with options offered to personalise your practice, for your needs on the day.
You will need:
👍 A soft mat or rug to lay on
👍 A blanket
👍 Two tennis balls or MFR balls
👍 An old sock
👍 A block or a couple of small hardback books
Ideal if you have them, but not essential:
👍 Two small foam balls
👍 A small pilates ball or soft foam football
Ideal for those who:
✅ Have aches, pains or creaks!
✅ Spend long periods of time sitting
✅ Want to feel a little more alive without going to the gym (or out in the rain)
✅ Fancy a little morning movement with friendly company to set them up for the day!
✅ Enjoy taking responsible for their body, mind and energetic spirit.
This practice is not suitable for anyone who is experiencing:
✖️ Tumors
✖️ Open wounds
✖️ Broken bones or fractures
✖️ Deep vein issues
✖️ Blood thinning medication
✖️ Uncontrolled high blood pressure
🤷♀️ This practice may be beneficial for those with Chronic Fatigue yet this very much depends on each individual.
